Jonny Glines is an award-winning creative director and designer with 12 years of experience creating immersive stage experiences for arena tours, televised performances, and large-scale experiential activations. His work blends stage design, video content, 3D modeling, and lighting design to transform unconventional spaces into unforgettable worlds.
His portfolio includes projects for global artists such as Bruno Mars (Pollstar Award-winning Moonshine Jungle Tour), Chris Brown, Arcade Fire, Steve Aoki, and Wiz Khalifa, as well as televised productions for the MTV VMAs and CMT Awards. Beyond music, Jonny has created experiential work for brands including Ford Mustang, Paramount, Lionsgate, FIFA, and Doritos.
Jonny specializes in designing for unconventional canvases—from projection mapping onto the UT Austin Tower and the Boston University ice skating rink with Cirque du Soleil, to creating video content for 100-foot LED screens on arena stages. He approaches each project as a technical artist, working with cutting-edge technologies like Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, and disguise media servers, while leveraging AI tools for rapid prototyping. He uses 3D modeling to design projection surfaces and treats massive LED walls as dynamic light sources that inform his color and lighting choices. His designs don't just display content—they integrate video, animation, and lighting into a singular immersive experience.
Currently, Jonny teaches AI-driven video workflows through his Maven course "AI 4 Creatives: Video" and leads projects through his production company, Glines Creative. His work continues to push the boundaries of what's possible when technology, design, and live performance collide.
